Job Opening
Vice President, New Skool Media
Company Description
FiComm Partners ("FiComm") is an integrated communications consulting firm serving financial services companies with a #NewSkool approach, specializing in the independent financial advisory and wealth management communities. Our strategic communications programs include branding, marketing, digital outreach, public relations, crisis communications, business consulting, and advisor education.
FiComm's clients include independent registered investment advisory (RIA) firms and companies that serve this rapidly growing market, including asset managers, wealth and fintech solutions, custodians, independent broker dealers, and wealth management platforms.
At FiComm, our competitive advantage is built on the strength of our relationships and our reputation in the industry, our enjoyment collaborating with each other and for what we do, and our desire to build a new and improved communications approach. Our culture is collaborative, high intensity, and fully engaged, which we maintain by investing in highly motivated, enthusiastic people interested in being a part of something different and exciting.
Our Values
We are NewSkool by Nature
Old School is ... old. By being vulnerable, we unleash the ability to connect authentically with others, knowing that authentic connection is what consumers crave. We know that honesty is always the best policy, life is too short to not have fun, and transparency trumps jargon every day of the week. Yes, it's disruptive and that's how we roll.
Our Glass is Always Half-full
We lead with positivity and gratitude because that's just a more fun way to live. We know that there is not much we can control in life, but we can control our attitude, so we choose to be cheery optimists who interpret situations with a positive mindset. We are energetic, resilient, and are passionate about turning challenges into opportunities.
Agility is Our Superpower
And nimble is our middle name. We operate as self-organizing, cross-functional teams doing strategic work in frequent iterations with continuous feedback. We bring a certain humility to our agile approach, knowing that the people with most potential are the ones who know they have a lot to learn.
We Delight in Transformation
Marketing and PR services may be commoditized, but our critical thinking and relationship building are not. The most amazing transformation happens when a company's vision is clear and fully infused across the business. We create moments for clients that spark joy, shock the system, and keep things fresh.
We Will Crush It, Then Rest
We work hard and rest harder. Yes, we have grit. We are quick and nimble and were born with uncommon perseverance. Passion and urgency infuse everything we do, but not at a cost to our sanity. We normalize the importance of personal priorities and care, so that we can continue crushing it on the regular.
